One of the famous anti-virus software I use AntiVir. AntiVir “PersonalEdition Classic” is free (no registration is necessary either) and protects you from viruses and malware. I like it better than other free antivirus programs like AVG, ClamWin and Avast and better than even non-free programs like Norton AV.
